IS Paypal Secure and safe????

Question

i am earned some money from PTC and survey sites.they paying thru Paypal.so i thouhgt of creating an account with paypal.when i am creating an account with paypal,they asking for my bank (credit or debit)card number.is it safe and secure to give my card number???????????why they are asking my bank card number???

They always ask for that.  They use it in part to verify that you are who you say you are and if you were to owe them any fees they would deduct it from your card.  My complaint with Paypal is that it can be very difficult to get them to send you a check if that is what you want.  They would rather you just spend the money out of the account.  Getting a check from them took me a month.

If you shop online at all it is the best and only way (in my opinion anyway)! I have been using it for years.  Your credit/debit card details are not shown to the merchant at all, they only see your paypal username. The bonus part is that if something does happen and you don't receive an item that you have paid for, Paypal offers a claim facility so that you can get your money back. This has saved me twice when buying items on Ebay and the seller would not refund. Paypal refunded me in full. You also receive interest on the funds sitting in your Paypal account, or just transfer it out to your bank account. It's very easy to use.

PayPal is completely safe.  They ask for a bank account to allow for a free transfer to get your money from your PayPal account to your bank account (usually 3-5 days).  However, to not give your bank account info to just anyone (i.e. the survey sites).  

PayPal is completely legitimate (owned by eBay) and I've been using it for many years without one single problem.  

Having your credit card and/or bank account listed on PayPal also will also allow you to pay others using PayPal while securing your account information.

The survey site will never see your account info.  They pay you through PayPal using your email address you register with PayPal.

I have given all the information and have not had a problem.

The real problem is the fraudulent people out there that abuse the limitations of paypal. I only had one incident with one fraud lucky I did not lose anything but I could have if I was not careful.

I have not had issues with companies yet.

EVEN IF YOU BUY SOMETHING FROM A PERSON OR A COMPANY THAT DOESN'T HOLD UP OR IF YOU PAY FOR SOMETHING AND NEVER RECEIVE IT PAY PAL WILL INVESTIGATE AND IF NECESSARY REFUND YOUR MONEY. THIS COMPANY HAS BECOME SO TRUSTED AMONG COMPANIES THAT SOME WILL ONLY ACCEPT PAYMENTS FOR MERCHANDISE  WHEN THE PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE THRU PAY PAL. EBAY HAS BECOME A MULTI - MILLION DOLLAR CO. BECAUSE OF PAY PAL. YOU CAN TRUST THEM!!!!! THE FUNDS THAT SOMEONE MAY PAY YOU THRU PAY PAL WILL GO INTO THE ACCT. THAT YOU GIVE THEM THE INFORMATION  ON.
