IS She Evil, or What?

I buy my nephew clothes, and he has told me he his mother has thrown his clothes away in the trash can, especially the ones he really loved. Even a brand new back pack, that I bought she claimed was ripped? I bought him a huge Elmo and she claimed my nephew didn't like it, when in fact, we both bought it together. Clothes, or shoes disappear??

Why does she have such tremendous hate for an aunt who loves her nephew and gives things to him?

  1. She is sick.  Does she have alcohol or drug problems.  My ex does that sort of thing with my daughter He once told her to call his girlfriend mom and call me by my first name.  Also every time I buy her new clothes they disappear.  He dresses her in boy hand me downs and gives her nice new girl clothes away.

  2. She has some kind of problem ... I'd need a lot more to know what.

  3. She's a control freak and needs counselling.

Have you told the kid's father about this problem?

If you haven't, you should. but do it carefully and thoughtfully.

  4. I'm guessing you are the sister of his father.  Sounds like she still has issues with him, and since you are his relative, she takes it out on you as well. I would recommend following the advice you received above about keeping items at your house for him to enjoy there.

  5. Omg Yes. That's Really Mean.

  6. wow hats just plain mean :(

i mean what if he didn't like the Elmo why throw it away ?

well i really don't know what you should do

you should sort this out with her and say if i buy things for him and they are in good shape please dont throw them away because that's a waste of my money and also hearts my feeling!

    - good luck

  7. Sure is, Evil. Now that you know that wise up! Put the money you would have spent for things for him into a fund acct for when he goes to college. Hopeully it will be in an investment acct. to accumulate more $. People can be jealous for all sorts of reasons.

If the childs parents are not married then the son has just his mothers last name to write after his. If they are married the child takes the fathers last name as recognition that he was sired in wedlock (not bastardry).

You do not state which side of an aunt you are but from the reading it would appear that it was the fathers side. She cannot stand him, so it rubs off on you(?).

Like I wrote enjoy your time with your nephew. If you can keep a few items at your house for him to enjoy when he comes to visit then do so. Who knows how long it will before she wants to curtail the visits with you. So if he cannot eat it, ride it, enjoy it before he goes home, don't indulge in getting it for him.

  8. It sounds pretty evil to me.

Some people are just plain evil. There's nothing you can do about it.

I don't know her, so I am not trying to talk bad about her.
