  1. You are 34, you have a GED, you scored a 25... give it up, sorry but you just don't meet the Qualifications, if it were just 1 thing, maybe a waiver... but you have 3 major ones, all of which seldom, if ever, get waived.

Your Step Fathers Service is Honorable, but, it is irrelevent to you qualifying.

Try the ANG, they MAY take you, but I doubt it.

The age cut for Marines is 28 Active, 29 Reserves.

The MINIMUM AFQT is 32, CAT4's with a GED are not accepted... Fed Law, sorry. The Corps will not accept a GED without a MIN 50 score... you do NOT qualify.

The MINIMUM Education is HS, for TEIR 1... you are TEIR 2, and <5% are accepted per year, and only if they are top candidates in all other Categories... face it, you are not. Sorry, but, facts are facts.

  2. The only time the services accept a cat IV in the konths of june and december. That is for direct shipping to basic. Meaning you will go to basic that month.

Buy an arco study guide for military placement exams and try to get at least a 32 on the retest.
