The liberal rumor mill had Palin faking a pregnancy to protect her daughter.  Kinda hard on two counts:

1.  Palin is 44 and in the public eye constantly.

2.  Her daughter is five months along.

What do you expect from some liberals.  Better to pretend trash than improve their candidate.

It's the same kinda stuff that FOX News did with Obama during the primaries a lot.  It's sad because the media gets involved and throws their personal view, opinions, and slants on everything, and people who are casual followers of politics are eating all this c**p up.  

I swear, people don't learn for themselves about what's going on in politics, they just rely on word of mouth and news shows to let them know what the media thinks they need to know.  99% of these people here on Yahoo! Answers haven't done any research of their own, been out in our communities to see how things really are, or raised a finger to do anything about it.  They, like the media, are what you call 'arm chair theorist'.  The sit back in their recliner, watch CSNBC or FOX News, and draw their opinions based on what they are told.  You would be amazed at how many so called republican supporters haven't even watched the RNC, but watched the DNC just to talk trash about Democrats.  Then they flip to FOX News or CSNBC to see what their party's supporters said about what the party said that was written by somebody else, then log on to Yahoo! to see what the headline is, get on here and say the most uninformed and carbon copied statements i've ever heard.

People need to get out there and figure out things for themselves, less they enjoy getting on forums like this and sounding as ignorant as they do.

I actually had a shot at being the first person to post to this, but I passed on that because this really had to be said.

The US magazine cover is tacky and cheap...but what do you expect, it's US magazine....the news media (90% of it anyway) is biased against anyone who is not Obama...

No, simply because you are assuming the media is always fair.  The media has a goal: to make money.  So they do whatever they need to do to make their profit and conform to their agenda.  If it so happens to be Sarah Palin that is the next target, so be it.  It isn't bias...it's, unfortunatly, just business.

No, she is an idiot and they have the right to report that despite her claims, she has lobbied congress for a bridge to nowhere, she is not in control or in charge of any oil that comes out of Alaska, she is not aware of most of her gubernatorial responsibilities, she is under investigation for corruption, she has no business in the white house but don't worry voters will keep her out.

After the election the so-called news organizations will need a nationally televised convention to try and restore any sort of ligitimate accountability to the U.S. citizens. 99% are no better than the National Enquire or People Magazine.

No good will come of using their power this way. If Obama loses, the fingers can be pointed directly back to those who felt it was their job to report opinions as fact and not pure facts.

They sure have become sexist lately.  First they turn on Hillary Clinton after portraying her as a champion for the last 15 years and now the smear campaign against Palin, a woman who millions of other American women can identify with.  She challenged the media last night and they are clearly not backing down.

For the goddess' sake!!! They finally are doing their job and trying to help us know who the heck this unknown person from a place few of us have visited IS! I think we need to interview her about a lot more than her dysfunctional personal life. I want to know if she knows the geography of the world and won't make the stupid gaffs Bush does when speaking to foreign powers. But first I guess it is important if we find out she's a BIG LIAR! To have at it, media!! Help us vet her, cuz the 72 yr. old sure didn't.
