If you find derogatory action listed on any of your credit reports, you should challenge it and if the person/agency that reported it can't back it up in writing or if it is incorrect, it will be removed.  That is what companies do that promise to "clean up your credit" but you can certainly do this yourself.

annualcreditreport.com. That's the only one that u don't hafta sign up for anything & its issued by the government..you get your report from all 3 credit beaureus once a year for free. I hope that helped
