IS THIS (GAS ) POEM OK??.its for school?

Question

gas prices keep on going up

people hate it, they

can't pay that much.

Alot of people decide to walk

because the prices are just too high.

to pay that much

is crazy.have to do

it anyways, so if gas prices go up or down.

either pay for it or ride a bus.

Numerous news stories of "Prices at the Pump";

People hate it...

forget to stop at they station when they see a number and can't pay it

Efficient cars stuttering to a stop and people run like Forrest Gump.

Just work on making yourself happy with it.

People decide they can't pay that much

Some people walk and the Doctor's make out

Because now patients contract arthritis or the gout

So what it comes down to is either them or us

You have to pay at the pump or take the city bus

Volatile, it irritates

The people, they all agree

To the shock, of new dollar signs

People travel, without tires

Tripping sideways, on sidewalk

Walking fast, to compensate

For the slow speed, without gas



Bicycle bells, for the car honks

Sturdy helmet, replacing seat belt

The gas price, has gone beyond us

once again we enter, the era of pedestrian
