My lower part of my left eye has been twitching since last wendsday and My neighbor said that its a sign of a stroke.

  1. NO. I had my eye twitch for weeks on and off. Only thing you can do is rub below your eye. Your face and eyes are surrounded by muscles that like the rest of your body can twitch sometimes. When my eye was twitching I happened to ask my eye doctor at an appointment and she said it doesnt mean anything.

  5. well there are a number of reasons your your eye does this. one you could be depleted of a mineral. or the most common stress. sometimes nerve damage (not likely). i have heard that if you have ringing in your ears for years that may be a sign of stroke. i dint mean the occasional ringing i mean the kind of ringing that hurts. i wouldnt worry unless there is something going on. if your due for an exam i would say get one
