A very large majority are cut. It is still considered socially undesirable to be "supot" (uncircumcised) even in the modern Phillipines. It remains a physical sign that boys have "become men". Ordinary city dwellers usually submit to this unnecessary procedure, as in the USA, for purely cultural reasons. A lot of Catholics also believe wrongly that it is demanded by their religion. Christianity does NOT require it to be done, like Judaism does.

Filipino indigenous tribal groups practise it by tradition, and the Muslim areas circumcise for religious reasons. The uncut ones are mostly in the Chinese minority or are direct descendants of the Spanish colonial people who have rejected it.

Not all of them no! It is becoming much less popular and there are some who don't get that nasty procedure done to them!

no...many Filipinos are uncut...but majority are cut because of Catholicism and Islam...and the circumcision style here in the Philippines is only "dorsal slit"...so no skin is removed...

no, and and philipino circumcisions are not the same as american circumcisions, they do a dorsal slit circumcision which cuts the f******n down one side, no skin is removed

MOST of the FILIPINOS(not "philipinos", coz iam a filipino) are cut coz you know, its a tradition of some families, or should i say, most of the families that are filipinos... i am too,

Yes they are! You should be totally stoked to be circumcised! If you are go and get circumcised, it is seriously the best way to be!

no but because they have a large catholic population many do get circumsized
