IS an LCD TV or a Plasma Screen TV better for video gaming?

I have a PS3 and want to buy a new TV in the near future but i am not sure which kind of Screen is better for HD video gaming

When choosing a TV for Gaming look for the response time spec the shorter the better. I would recommend an LCD due to the price difference. I know my LCD  Sony has a Game Mode.

LCD is almost always better for gaming. The game HUD can burn into a plasma screen if you're not careful. You don't have to worry about "burn-in" issues with LCDs. Just be sure the tv you get has an 8ms or better response time. This is essential to avoiding motion blur/lagging. But as far as gaming goes LCD all the way. I use my Xbox 360 & PS3 with my Vizio 32'' LCD HDTV and games look fantastic.
