IS carjacking or child neglect?

I was watcing TODAY SHOW ans a woman was stabed they say saving her baby. But they also said she was going into store and baby was in car left alone what is it neglect or carjacking if she was going into store and left baby in car alone?

It would be neglect. Carjacking is when someone takes off in your car.

She should be charged for neglect. the carjackers should be charged for stealing the car and kidnapping.

Carjacking a car was not her fault - but should not have left the child in there.
