  2. The food is expensive, especially for what you get.  When I went a few years ago, a mini corn dog meal was $9, but the kids meal was $5 (with 4 less mini corn dogs), so I bought the kids meal.  They have about anything you want to eat....burgers, Chick-fil-A, pizza, Subway, fries, dippin dots, etc..  It's typical amusement park food.

You can bring a cooler with you, but the last time I was there, you have to leave it in the picnic areas/shelters OUTSIDE of the main gate to get you into the park.  To eat lunch or whatever, you get a handstamp....leave the park....walk 500 feet to the picnic area and eat at the picnic pavilion.  Just a warning, I have brought a cooler several times and left in the pavilion with no problems, but some people have come to find their food spread out on the table and the cooler missing or come to find their cooler and food missing or the food eaten.  It's a risk you take, but it doesn't happen very often.

  3. yes, very.

i had a cheeseburger and coke.

    it was nine dollars.

    bring your own.

  4. Sort of.

Some of there good stuff is really cheap though, but then you have all that "crappy" food that 'sounds' good but is really a rip off.

Last time I checked I think you are allowed to.

But no food or drinks can be taken on to the ride platform (to help maintain the standards of there 'cleanliness').

The cost of food depends on what you buy.

On average its around 4-20 dollars.

Like I said before, some of the good stuff is cheap.

They have LOTS of stuff to do.

They have Rides, Shows (See http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/sh... for more detail),  Live bands, Soak City, Challenge Park, Spinning Rides, Roller Coasters, Thrill Rides, etc...

Check out there main website page for more detail.

  5. you can't bring coolers, i was just on their site.

  6. Yes, it is expensive. You will pay about $10 total for a drink and a meal.

    Here's what I do:

I always eat a big breakfast before I go, that way by the time I get to the park, it's in my system and I can ride for hours. When I do eat, I stuff myself on that $10 meal, and then go on something like a sky ride or walk around and take photos while it settles. Then once again I can ride for hours without getting hungry, and by the time I leave the park, if I do get hungry I can swing by a McDonalds or something.

Here is the part of their website with some of the popular in-park restaurants and the menu is included:

    http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/fo...

I looked at my park map for this information: They have Chuck Wagon Pizza, Panda Express (chinese food), Chick Fil A, a donut shop that serves a variety of pastries and Starbucks coffee, and Hurricane Hannah's which serves Caribbean burgers and pizza.

They also have corn dogs, funnel cakes, nachos, potato fries, wings, and more. Grab a park map by the entrance, it shows which restaurants serve what food. Don't feel stupid for grabbing a map; it helps a lot. Cedar Point is huge and you are going to need it.

Taken from the CP website (www.cedarpoint.com)

With the exception of special diet/need items (which may be kept in a small cooler), outside food and beverages are not allowed in the park. Un-opened bottled water may be brought into the park. Picnic baskets and coolers are welcome at the public picnic pavilions located outside the park near the main entrance to Cedar Point. A limited number of electrical outlets and public grills are available in the public picnic shelters. You may bring your own charcoal grill (table-top charcoal grills should NOT be placed on top of the picnic tables). You may also bring George Foreman-type grills. Propane grills are not permitted.

Cedar Point is not responsible for items left unattended in the shelters. The public picnic shelter areas are not reserved, but are available to anyone who chooses to use them on a first-come, first-served basis.

  7. Cedar Point is awesome i went there on a band trip and it was alot of fun. there is tons to do you can go to the theme park and there are water parks. the food there is expensive in the city but you go out like 10 miles and its alot cheaper and yes you can bring a cooler in with you.
