No you can't, it is a disorder of the digestive system.

There is absolutely no way you can catch it, you have to be born with it.

hi ashley, I am a female crohn's pt. for 28 yrs.  You can't catch Crohn's like you can an STD from fooling around or hepatitis from doing drugs via shared needles. It is an autoimmune disease of the digestive tract that can affect anywhere from the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestines, large intestines, large colon, r****m, and a**s.

There are newer treatments like humira, remicade, entocort, 6mp, or imuran to get it into remission. surgery is always a last resort.

As a Crohn's patient, a wife, mother of three children, I can assure you that it is not contagious. Crohn's is an autoimmune disorder that affects the digestive tract. It can be inherited, but it can NOT be transmitted. You won't catch it if you kiss him.
