IS it Illegal to Live in Your Car?

Question

I live in the NY Metro area and want to know if the Law Prohibits Sleeping in a Parked Car outside of Private Property? This would include the areas of Westchester County, the Five Bouroughs, Nassau and Suffolk County? Please I want straight forward answer , not speculation, so please only answer if you are familiar with the LAWS for these Counties.

it might not be illegal but is uncomfortable as h**l and bathroom privileges are out where u going to go in the trunk ouch

Well, if your broke, you can always sleep in your car, but you can't drive your house.

You can, but don't drink beer etc  in the car as you can be done for drunk in charge if you have the keys on you. Luck

Most states have vagrancy laws that prohibit people from sleeping in their cars or on the sidewalks, etc. You will probably get ticketed and would have to pay a hefty fine.
