i find that i am bleeding on one side, but not on the others... i apply pressure to it, but it is still kind of bleeding. It is weird becasue it stopped bleeding the second day, but started again last night. I think it was the salt water that did it, but ever since the side continues to bleed. What should i do?

  1. it's not normal, go back to your dentist the blood plug has not formed or it has fallen out could lead to a condition call dry socket and could lead to infection. The dentist may cauterize it.

  2. yeah.its totally normal.actually, the 2nd and 3rd day are the hardest days,& your face will probably swell up abit.

    but,its normal :)

  3. If you have an gauze left I would use it again. Also the ice pack to the face was the best thing ever.

  4. It is normal. My older sister had her wisdom teeth extracted recently. The dissolvable stitches tend to loosen up a bit and you may taste blood and sometimes the blood clots unclot. Just another tip: apply direct ice to your face instead of the chem-packs to decrease swelling. The chem-packs aren't nearly as cold as what you need.
