to be on his feet allot. He pulls himself up and everything but he doesn't walk but i will take him in the grass and hold both of his hands and he moves his feet and we walk to the other side of the yard.I'm scared hes going to get like bowed legs or something from being on his feet so young

This is him about 4 weeks ago..this is how he likes to walk

  1. hes fine the bowed leg thing is a myth. it would take a lot of wieght a very long time to make the bones on his legs to bow.

  2. Babies can start learning to walk even as young as 6 months.  My boys were both 9 months when they were walking.  There is no problem in him being on his feet at 8 months, he is developing as he should.  Most babies by the way are bow legged for awhile, that changes by the time they are 2-3 years old.

  3. No. he is ok... he is just telling you "he is ready to walk" he is just practicing! When he does walk... watch-out !!! He will be everywhere... Good Luck

  4. No,,,, stop worrying! Its not uncommon for a baby to walk alone at 9 months, without any damage to the legs at all.  If the child is grossly overweight the answer might be different, in that case sheck with the baby's doctor!

  5. 8 months isnt really considered young for  a baby to be standing on furniture, my daughter was 7 months when she started pulling herself up  and although i thought that was young my health nurse assured me that children as young a six months can be walking...although it is rare it does happen. BTW he is gorgeous....heartbreaker in the making:)

  6. Your baby will never do anything that he's not comfortable with. They start standing around this age.. it's normal. Enjoy because it never lasts long ;)

  7. As long as he wants to do this on his own, and you are not forcing it it's completely healthy & normal!!!

    His shirt is awesome!

  8. No, I'm afraid hes mentally retarded.

  9. Its normal from about 7 months on. It helps their legs grow straight. I love that t-shirt.

  10. No its not bad its actually really good because when its time for him to walk he legs will be stronger. It will be easier and faster for him to walk on his own without falling down .
