after a person has been treated? like; cord blood, pku priks, biopsies(sp?),or organs from dead patients.

1. is this for legal reasons(lawsuits)?

2.do they do this with or without consent?(and with the dead bodies what if someone had wished NOT to donate their organs?)

3.can they sell these tissues without our consent?or is there some kind of ethical law that forbids it?

4.how do they dispose of human tissue(if indeed they actually dispose of it)?

5.if they did keep ALL of those tissues form ALL of the patients then where on earth would they store such a vast amount of tissue?(because i'm assuming it would have to be kept pretty cold)

don't worry i'm not going to try to sell anybodies organs or dig up graves or whatever...i was reading a book that mentioned it and i was curious if they actually did these things...
