  1. if its missing the engraving on the inside, the chances are pretty good that it's not real....but you can have it appraised, and they'll tell you.

  2. Engraving jewerly doesnt make it gold, silver or anything for that matter, its just engraved. If in doubt, take it to a jeweler.

  3. gold doessnt turn your finger green >.< Ive been wearing a 23 karat gld ring for 3 years now..

  4. go to your local jewelry store and have it checked out to be sure ;)

  5. Try this...if you have on face powder, look in the mirror and rub the ring on your face.  If a black line shows up, it's real.  If not, I would double check with a jeweler.  Hope this helps!

  6. try and sell it see what they offer... dont actually sell it though

  7. Most real gold is stamped ... usually with a 14K or an 18K.  Sometimes, the stamps can be very difficult to find.  I'd suggest getting a magnifying glass and looking all over it.  In some cases, especially with heirloom jewelry, it might not be.  I have my great-grandmother's wedding ring, which is over 100 years old, and it's not stamped.  It is real gold though, but I'm not sure of the quality of it though.

  8. If you can bend the ring with your fingers, it is real gold.

  9. Have you thought about going to a jewelers and getting it checked?  Just bc your finger doesn't turn green, doesn't mean its real.

  10. then i doubt it real..its fake it it dont have inside the ring 14k or 10 k

  11. go take it to the jewler how are we supposed to knoe we cant see it!

  12. idk add a picture but i still wouldnt know

  13. Bend over, let's see.

  14. Let's see, Copper turns fingers green.

I'd guess your ring is Stainless Steel, Titanium, or a Gold Alloy (most likely). It doesn't need to have anything engraved in it to be a ring.

If it's a wedding ring the most probable thing is that it's REAL Gold mixed with another metal to make it not as weak.

  15. Take it to a jeweler..it's the only way you're going to find out.

  16. Gold does not always have the Karat engraved inside.  Some jewelers refurbish jewelry and re-sale it.  If this is the case with your ring the Karat markings could have been polished out.  This also applies if the ring has been sized up or down to fit your finger.

  17. um not sure ... maybe

take it to a jewelry store and ask :p

  18. Well, if you get it wet, and then it urns your finger green, it's fake. If it doesn't, its real.
