IS my son really have milk/soy allegies or was it all just his acid reflex?

heres what my 5 month old experienced,,, spitting up, gassy..... on all enfamil formulas.... last formula he was on was prosobee and he was less gassy but still spit up alot.. doc says he has acid reflex... well i beleive that hes stop spitting up since hes been on zantac, alhtought my main comcern is does he really have all these allergies or was it just his acid reflex the whole time... any insite would be great.... thanks

i think it was acid refluf.......but ask around are call a few docs and ask there nurse there insite...

I think if they have an allergy you would have know right away, so I would think it's the reflux. My son has it too, but being on the Zantac has been great!!! As I just wrote to someone else, perhaps it's the incorrect dosage, maybe needs a little more? I think it goes by weight...also, my son wasn't doing well on Enfamil, we just switched him to Nestle Good Start..says it has "comfort proteins" and they are easier to digest...he seems to be doing better with his BM's since we switched!

You can get him tested for allergies. Really the only way to know for sure.
