IS the weight bar important on an ak47 JG spetznas???

I pulled it out thinking it was the battery and now the holes are too big for the screws!If you dont know what i mean im talking about the thick goldish bar under the top of the gun

It serves no purpose other than to add weight to the gun for the sake of making it feel more realistic. If it's in the way, yank it.

If you'd rather repair the s***w holes, fill them with quick-set epoxy, install the screws, and tape it tight into place with electrical tape until it's dry.
