There is no better social life than college. Reason is simple. You will meet students that have similiar interest to yours. I am 68 yrs. old and will never forget the college years. Go to as large a college as possible. That will increase your chances of finding students with similiar interest.

In comparison to highschool I am assuming?

Well in college, first of all, there is usually more people, tons of different people from different backgrounds, cultures, styles and majors.  There are so many different interesting people to meet that you never could dream of.  Second of all, you have so much opportunity for a social life- i.e. dorm, you live with like 60 other students on your floor, you all become close friends, become a little family away from home, study together, party together, eat together...

plus there are bars, parties, and classes to go to... where you meet tons of other people.

But remember to study!
