  1. there is great difference between eating at night and eating during day.

it is too bad to eat late in night. it's not good for health. you should eat at least 2 hour before you go to sleep

  2. If you're eating junk at 2 am, then yes. If you would eat 3 balanced meals a day, there will be no late night snacking.

  3. i eat cottage cheese and a protein shake every night before bed...nothing happens to me

ive onlygained some fat but that was from the excess of calories i inhale

  4. It does not matter what time you eat, you are still consuming calories.  The only reason they say to eat your biggest meal at lunch time and not to eat so much late at night is because the meal at lunch has more time to be burned off throughout the rest of the day.  At night usually we are more sedentary so its harder to burn off larger meals.

I also heard that eating really late, like an hour before bed, can cause nightmares.  At night most of the blood circulating is going towards the brain.  If you eat late then a lot of the blood goes to the stomach causing some complications in the brain activity.

  5. The reason why eating late at night i so bad for you is because of how difficult it is to control your hunger at that particular time. More than any other time of the day, eating during the night is more likely to attract you to unhealthy junk food. Our bodies don't care when they take in the calories, as long as you have not expended your calorie needs for the day you will simply be making up for earlier. For example: you owe a 600 calorie deficit for the day and make it up by snacking at 10:00 opposed to after you exercised. You're still making up for the same thing.

  6. no matter what time you eat you are going to sonsume the calaries in the food you eat you do not want to eat an hour before you go to bed.

  7. I think its bad because when you go right to bed your body doesnt get a chance to burn anything off. I always eat before bed & i am fine. Perfectly skinny too. However i do not know what this will do for me in the long run. Im only 24 as of now.

  8. Eating late at night is very bad because you are least active then.  This contributes to major weight gain.  It is also rumored to be the cause of nightmares.

  9. I don't think eating at night can be very good for the digestion actually and how do you sustain your energy levels during the day. Listen to your mom.
