  1. If I still ate candy, it would be either Hershey's Candy Kisses or what  they  call "Fun Size" Mounds bars.  Translate "Fun" to mean a small amount of chocolate and coconut.  (Oh, to be a kid again!)

  2. I don't buy Halloween candy because we don't get any kids where we live.

I kind of miss the Trick or Treating.

  3. Miniature Snickers bars are my absolute favorite Halloween treat.  If I bring them into the house, the trick-or-treaters don't usually get many of them!

  4. We rarely anymore get trick or treaters so when I do buy I only buy what I like that way its not too hard to get rid of it.One year we had candy past Memorial day of the following year.lol.It was individual wrapped whoppers. Not a big fan of candy I can take it or leave it.

  5. No, for the kids I'm able to control myself and eat what's left over.  But I will not buy the candy cigarettes!

I've seen too many relatives die because of their own or sombody else's smoking.  I just have no sense of humor about this!

  6. I refuse to buy any of it.

    I refuse to participate.

It's not safe to give anything to children.

It's not safe to allow children to knock on doors of strangers.

Halloween as we once knew it is a thing of the past.

There are far too many sick & twisted people who poison children.

Besides that, it's not safe to roam around after dark.

If you live in a safe area & know all your neigbors, it's still no guarantee that outsiders won't go to your neighborhood just to cause trouble.

I am so glad I have no grandchildren to have to worry about on these holidays.

  7. Ohhh, I love the Tootsie Rolls, and the Mary Janes, and the black licorice, and  . . . .I could go on and on . . Found out I had sugar diabetes about 4 years ago, so now I usually buy the spider rings, or Weinie Whistles to pass out !

  8. No, because its called chocolate. If there's any left after Halloween, I eat it!

  9. Snickers, M&M's, most anything with chocolate or caramel.

  10. Easy. I never purchase any. I give out dimes. If a kid looks at me funny, tough.

  11. I love the little Almond Joy or Mounds bars.  May not buy any candy at all  this year.  We didn't have a single trick or treater come to our door last year.  We live in a small town, and live on a quiet little street.

  12. Hi Pagan. It's strange that you are asking this because I was just at my grocery store and they already have Halloween Candy out in a huge display and I thought to myself, "They are putting this out sooner and sooner just so I can get fatter and fatter sooner...lol!" Yes, it sounds good, but I didn't buy any today, but I can't promise this by next week. Thanks for the chuckle!

  13. The caramels.  You know the little square ones.  they are a pain to open but I love them so much.

  14. I love snickers and hershey kisses,If they are in the house I can't stay out of them. I am going to give candy that I dint like.

  15. I love Candy Corn. MMMMMM....

  16. i loved trick or treating as a kid . got pillow cases ful of yummy treats . lol

here , no kids come any more . very sad that this day and age parents dont feel its safe . and i live in a small town .

love my tiny chocolate bars i buy , just incase a ghost or two shows up . lol

    have a great eve . d.

  17. I usually buy jumbo bags of whatever is cheap at Big and Small Lots.  Last year, we had 79 kids show up for treats.  One little goblin pointed to me and said, "I love your costume."...I wasn't wearing a costume...Oh well, just another bad fashion day.

  18. I rarely buy any of it because I will eat it. We don't ever have any trick or treaters to come here any way. If it is here we will eat it and we don't need it, lol. If I get a sweet tooth, I will get some then. Now the packages that have the variety stuff in it, like the plastic spiders, I refuse to buy that as I am scared to death of spiders even if they are plastic.

  19. No. I always buy lots and lots of stuff we like.  Chocolate is one thing I refuse to worry about.  I like it -I eat it.

  20. Nope.  No matter what candy I buy, I will finish off whatever is left.  No will power here!  lol

  21. Last year I ran out of sweets to give out at 7pm so I ran out and bought a huge box of chocolate orange segments. Lo and behold nobody came round after 7 o clock trick or treating so the box is still sitting in my cupboard. The expiration date on the box is August 2008 but I'm still gonna hand them out this year with the warning that they have expired. They can take them or leave them as far as I'm concerned lol
