  1. In the spring skunks love to dig into soft lawns in search of grubs and other insects. Tell tale signs of skunk damage are round holes creating small mounds in your turf. If agitated, they may spray creating an overpowering smell that can wake a person up out of a deep sleep. In times past, trapping and relocating was one of the few effective ways in getting rid of skunks. Now there is a much easier (and less risky!) way to repel skunks.

Shake-Away the Strongest Skunk Repellant in Nature

What is Shake-Away skunk repellant? It is a strong, granular skunk deterrent that contains the scent of the skunk's most feared predator, the fox.

Shake-Away Small Critter Powder uses the scent of the fox to take advantage of the skunk's inborn, instinctive fear of its worst enemy, driving the pest from your property.

       Skunk Factiod:

Skunks are omnivores. In addition to eating a variety of plants, worms, grubs and insects, skunks are also meat eaters. The meat in their diet includes crayfish and other small aquatic animals. They will also go after the young of other small animals to round out their diet.

Simply sprinkle Shake-Away around the area you want to protect, and your skunk pest will instinctively stay away from the area "claimed by" the fox.

Woodsmen have known for hundreds of years that the predator's territorial marking tool, urine, strategically attracts or repels animals. Now you can use this scientifically proven, time-tested strategy in getting rid of skunks with Shake-Away.

Other skunk repellant methods are time consuming to use, messy to apply and some are even harmful to people, plants and animals.

  2. Shake Away does seem to work pretty well.  We also found a recipe on line a few years ago that involved castor oil, peroxide, and something else that we mixed together and sprayed around that seemed to help.
