  1. Yes, i even have the 3/4 cup of oatmeal with a little skim milk on the top and a fruit, usually an apple

  2. Yes that is an excellent choice for breakfast as long as you are not talking about the instant oatmeal.  The instant oatmeal where you just add water is loaded with sugar.  You want to make homemade oatmeal.  Another good choice for breakfast that doesn't take as much time to prepare is scrambled eggs and canadian bacon.  You don't want to cook the eggs in butter or bacon grease.  If you have two eggs and two slices of canadian bacon cooked with a non cholesterol spray such as Pam you actually have a very healthy meal that is low in calories.  You don't want to have any toast but maybe a few blackberries or blueberries or your nectarine.  You also want to shy away from orange juice or apple juice.  Go with tomato or V8 juice.  I lost 45 pounds by eating eggs for breakfast and staying away from processed foods.

    Thanks,

    Tom

  3. sounds great, but i'd add a bit more protein so it would keep you satisfied until snacktime or mabye lunch.  i always aim for about a 300-400 calorie breakfast.  mabye throw some almonds in or a few slices of turkey?  just a suggestion.  175 calories won't tide you over very long... :)

  4. Sounds like a healthy breakfast to me :)
