  1. The ring is lovely and im sure the lucky girl will be delighted you gave it to her .

I wouldnt worry about diamonds , its what you can afford that counts but more so what comes from the heart and you cannot put a price on that .

Good luck , not that you'll need it with that ring cos its beautiful...

  2. Both the rings on this page are real, if very small diamonds.

Both are appropriate for a young girl as a promise ring.

If your love is real so should the stone that marks the relationship be real.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary a few years ago and that when I got my big ring, we bought a home instead all those years ago, and I've never been sorry we did.

So start small now, with a promise and then later on keep that promise.

  3. I personally think it looks lovely and I wouldn’t worry about the fake diamond part!

However if you are concerned there are lots of other ‘real’ stones out there which are just as gorgeous. What’s her favourite colour or what colour does she wear most often? My other half bought me a gorgeous sapphire ring which I adore as its different.

  4. you asked this question at least 3 times

  5. It is a very nice ring, and the diamonds are real. It is a good value for the price. Zale's is a reputable jeweler.

I have to ask though-what does this have to do with Dining out??

  6. that is a very nice ring, fake or real...its the thought that counts

  7. What makes you think that this is a 'fake' diamond?

I think this is a fine ring; have you talked with your parents about presenting your girlfriend with a promise ring?

Maybe they have a family ring which they would like for you to share with your future bride to be.  Or if you don't want to go the 'diamond' route, you could go with something like a birthstone or some thing that is truly a unique setting.

Just a couple of things to consider.  When in doubt, go shopping with her girlfriend and see what she suggests.
