ISIC (International Student Identification Card) question?

So I just bought an ISIC off the STA website and at one point it said I needed to email them a copy of my current Student ID card, do I actually need to do that? Or what happens if I don't do it?

IDK how you bought it without supplying proof of your status - which is your current Student ID card.

Everyone I know who bought the card had to present proof of their status, i.e. their student cards.

Maybe you can go to FAQs and ask the Q on the site itself.
