  1. call your isp and ask them for alist of dial up number make sure they give you numbers in YOUR AREA CODE or you will be billed long distance for all calls, also find out your calling range in my area code i can not call all number as some are beyond my bassic range, so if they dial up number is in your area code make sure it is also withinyour calling range

  2. got to your ISP official website...and look for the access number in your area. Make sure its the right number, or you will be paying for LD and get a huge phone-bill!!

  3. Once you get the phone number from your dial-up ISP, then you will need to program that number into your web browser setup for Internet connections.

    For Internet Explorer7, go to:

    - Tools,

    - Internet Options,

    - Connections tab,

    - Click the "ADD" button

    - Select "Dial-up to Private Network" option

Continue through connection Wizard until it asks for your ISP dial-up telephone number.... enter it there.

    or

    For Windows XP:

To set the dial-up phone number, go to:

    - Start

    - Control Panel

    - Network Connections

    - New Connection Wizard

There is a place in the Wizard that will ask for your ISP phone number, put it in where specified.
