IT'S AUGUST AND MY STIMULUS PAYMENT STILL HASNT ARRIVED?

am i not getting one or something, because i didnt recieve my letter stating that i will be getting one, although i dont see why i shouldnt be getting one i worked last year..do you have to make a certain amount of money to recieve one or what? im guessing that could be the only reason i didnt recieve one yet.. but i worked for 6 months in 07..so i dont know what's the deal?..is anyone experiencing this confusion on the stimulus payments?

Are you sure you qualify? Did you visit IRS website www.irs.gov and use the stimulus calculator?  Did you check IRS website "wheres my stimulus"? If yes and you do qualify then call IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to find out where your stimulus is?  Or call (automated)stimulus hotline [phone].

(are you in full compliance, meaning have you filed all your tax returns from 2002 through 2007?)

Did you have a W-2 showing $3000 or more?

Were your total wages less than $75000?

Did you claim your own exemption on your tax return?

You can use where's my stimulus to check the status of the rebate.

call 1-800-829-1040, there is an option to push for updates on ur check..follow the prompts and you might be able to find out wats up...you should have received it by now

Are you sure you are eligible? Enter your info at http://www.irs.gov/app/espc/start.do to check.

If you didn't earn at least $3000, or if you are a dependent, you are not eligible.

Check http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180... to see if it has any info for you. If it says it was sent weeks ago, then call the IRS to report that you never got it.

If you are eligible but efiled close to 4/15, or mailed your return after mid-March, or filed an amended return, or had anything on your return questioned, that would delay your stimulus check.
