  1. Like you said, the next 4 next years given to a military, 4 years of your youth,  with no guarantees for training or where you are going to live or anything except you belong to Uncle Sam and once you sign,  there is no going back,  you are commited.  Wow, you better think twice

  2. i say join the military serve a few years and then come out and go to college tuition paid for by uncle sam. a college education can open alot of opportunities as well a military a career. who knows after ur military life u might wanna go to school and learn and get a job that u will like to work for.

P.S. if u decide to join a branch make sure u kno what u wana do and that its for YOU

  3. Don't join the military if you're looking for personal gain or an easier lifestyle.  If you're ready to offer your life to possibly benefit others, then CONSIDER a career in the military.  But since you hate school, you're going to positively LOATH the military, since they put you through training that makes 'school' look like a party.

  4. Is it worth it? That depends.

It depends on what you make out of it. That's the exact same answer that you have for what you are doing now as well. It depends on what you make of it.

If you are thinking that joining the military will suddenly turn your life around then you are expecting a bit too much. Going into the military opens doors to opportunities, nothing more. You still have to go through those doors.

The fact that you hate school and choose not to further your education is going to throw a huge road block on your life in many ways. While it is not carved in stone, the more knowledge you have, the more choices that you have.

  5. I would suggest the Air Force.  It is not easy to get in, but its not hard either.  I am a Junior in High School and a cadet in the US Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol, and when I graduate, I plan on joining the Air Force.  Here are the recruiting websites.  I think it is completely worth it.
