IT guides for beginners?

Where can I find IT guides for a beginner on the Internet? Most of the sites I've had a look at is a bit complex and lots of speciality words. I want to look for easy-to-understand definitions of IT terms, and how different parts of a PC work.

This isn't something you are going to get for free. Look into some of the "dummies" books or take a course.
