[ITLOS] This is for all supporters of the Law of the Sea Treaty?

I know my opinion differs from yours on the Treaty.

But I just read the ITLOS charter, and come on, did they really have to be a******s about this thing? The mandate of the ITLOS clearly has an attitude throughout it, and was obviously written by people who were really ****** proud of themselves.

Like, for example, "Nobody from the host city, citizen or official, is allowed on the premises of the ITLOS"

OR "Employees are INVIOLABLE to all local and national laws even after their term of employment here is over"

and how about "Actions of the tribunal are above all national laws, and can only be called into question if we feel like it, but even then you can't do jack **** to any member of the ITLOS"

These aren't the exact quotes, but **** all that! You may support the treaty itself, but I don't see how you could disagree that this tribunal needs to be taken down a few pegs.

God I hate people who know they don't have to answer to anybody.

  1. My first time under this Category, but I have not now, nor ever will support this clear and flagrant violation of our sovereignty.

Ronald Reagan refused to even consider this "Law" and I was under the impression subsequent Presidents dismissed it, except for Clinton.............who has endorsed some very unusual U.N. Programs, that circumvent our national interests.

I have to check this out further, as I was under the impression this "Treaty" was a dead duck.
