  1. http://www.engadget.com/2004/11/02/how-t...

    happened to me too =]

  2. there is a way to get your songs back.

    1. if they ware purchased, now theyre free TO YOU.

    2. look em up on your ipod and get them from limewire or frostwire. (i prefer frostwire)

    3. go to itunes and enable 'manually manage music and videos'

then you can just drag and drop onto ur ipod withput the fear of deleting what you already have.

  3. Go to here: http://www.download.com/iDump/3000-2169_... It is iDump. It will allow you to copy your ipod songs.

  4. um im sorry that this happend to u first of all. second of all it wont take the songs off of ur ipod unless u plug your ipod into ur computer that u erased ur songs from. i think there might be some way to make a different account on ur ipod. im not sure though.:)

  5. NO DONT PLUG YOUR IPOD IN IT WILL DELETE EVERY SONG ON YOUR IPOD try going to http://www.associatedcontent.com/article...

or getting a special program off downloads at apple.com go to downloads and theres a download that can save songs that were deleted on your computer but are still on your ipod try looking for it in the ipod itunes section!

  6. only if you have it set to sync, and even then a message should pop up where you can choose not to sync it to the library and change your ipod's settings

  7. yea

google "music rescue" (its a free program that allows you to take music from your ipod and put them in ur library)

    download the free version

  8. No, it will not delete the songs off your i Pod, and yes there is a way to transfer your songs from your i Pod to your laptop.

    To transfer songs:

    1. Turn on the laptop.

    2. Connect your i Pod.

    3. Open My Computer.

    4. There should be an icon that looks like an i Pod.

If you click on it the data on you i Pod will be displayed on the screen. To find the music just click on all the folders until you find folders that are named after the artist of the song you want.

    5. open Windows Media Player.

    6. drag and drop the songs into Media Player.

    TA-DAH!!!!!

You now have transfered songs to your laptop.
