ITV Newsreader in the 1980s?

Im trying to think of the name of this ITV newsreader during the 80s, all I can remember is that he had a funny nose and dark hair.

Can anyone remember his name or who I mean?

I think it would be 'Reggie' Reginald Bosanquet'  and his nose was a prominent feature in the "Spitting Image" caricatures of him, during the same period.
