ITV Rugby world cup commentary?

Is anyone else very disappointed with the quality of the game commentary, those two chumps sound like they speed read the big boys book of rugby commentary for beginners 2 minutes before kick off. Very poor.

  5. ITV have never had a good commentry team for Rugby. Made no sense of what they was saying as they was thankfully drowned out by the noise of the stadium.

  6. You are all lucky - due to our location we had to watch it with French commentary - fortunately our French wasn't good enough to follow more than a few words 'a pretty kick to touch' was one phrase we mastered.   (We're in Spain, btw, not such devoted fans that we're in France)

    Impressed with Arg at moment better bodies lo well i am woman but i do love the rugby better than football any day

  11. i was amazed when i heard ITV had the rugby, to my knowledge ITV have never had any rugby at all so they aren't going to have any proper commentators.  My advice is put five lives commentary on and just have the pics on TV

  12. I always prefer sport on the BBC.

    Shame they don't have the rights to show it.

  13. I listened to the Welsh language commentary on S4C, much better.

    Doctor John...what about those soccer nancy-boys that roll over in agony if someone so much as touches them...diddums.
