ITouch 8GB or iPod Classic 80GB?

Question

I have around 300 songs and i'd want to get lots of South Park episodes and other TV programmes onto my iPod. Which iPod is best for me?

300 songs is about 2-3 Gb on its own, so on the touch, you would only have enough room for about 30 episodes of TV. Id go for the classic, if you can stand the small screen and lack of wi-fi / youtube, or you could upgrade to the 16gb touch

well,  i have seven episodes of SP on my  8gb nano and about 1000 songs and its full. i kinda wish i had just spent the extra £30 0r whatever it was and got an ipod classic cause i keep having to delete things.  the itouch is pretty cool but i think the novelty of it wears off pretty quickly.

i guess the classic. They have a lot of memory. But the touch has a bunch of cool games and applications. Hmmmm. If you like watching videos and listening to music then just get the classic but if you like you-tube and going on the internet then get the touch. Cmon, are you really gonna need an itouch if all you do is listen to music and watch videos? Think about what you will do with it and choose the one thats better for you

I'd rather have the Touch but if you're going to use a lot of video you're probably bets off with the 80Gb Classic. 8Gb on the touch will fill very quickly and I now wish I got a bigger HDD version!

Well if you would like lots of videos go for the 80 GB. It holds 10 times more. But if you want a couple of videos and a lot of songs the 8GB.

id go with the ipod touch, it can hold a decent amount of movies and songs and its way cooler

Depends on whether you'd want to put music and videos on and leave them on, or swap out with fresh stuff all the time.

The iPod Touch is cooler, and it's easier to watch video on its larger screen, but you'll fill it up really quick. If you want to have a large library, better go with the iPod Classic.
