I just bought an iTouch. I had let the battery run out and after it recharged it came on for a moment but then I locked it and put it down. When i came back it had froze or ran out of battery. It will not show that its accepting a charge or show up on iTunes. Is there a way to reset , or something like that. Has any one had problems with that before?

  1. hold the sleep/home for 10 seconds and let go and keep holding the home button it should work if not take it to apple

  2. Try restoring it with iTunes. If that doesn't work then go to an Apple Store or wherever you bought it and explain your problem. They should replace it for you.

  3. Hold both buttons at least for 5-7 seconds. That should take care of everything.

  4. plug the ipod into your computer while holding the the home button (this normally puts it into restore mode)

you can also try holding the home and sleep button for 10 seconds.

but if its not jailbroken (hacked by third party software) apple owes you.
