ITunes - Different languages: Songs ?

Question

On iTunes, I have Chinese, and a lot of asian songs but they all show up as squares. But when I upload them to my iPod, they show the characters. How do I change this so I can see the characters on iTunes as well ? I didn't have this problem before I restored my computer. And I also installed a language pack and rebooted my computer but it still doesn't show up.

Make sure your computer is configured to recognize Chinese characters.
