I open iTunes plug in my iPod and put in the CD but it doesn't recognize that it's in there. So, it never comes up on iTunes. I've tried 2 CD's. I have a iPod nano. Like kind of the older one. (Not the video one) I tried clicking file and then import but I'm not sure how to do that. Like which file to pick and all that.

PLEASE HELP!!!

  1. I have the same one and ran into the same problem when I tried to import a cd a month ago. I am not sure if the updates apple made had anything to do with it but I had a similar issue. Does your computer recognize that the cd is in there? If it does you can copy the files from the CD drive into a seperate folder and import them yourself. To do that you copy the songs off the cd into a folder your self (make sure you remember where you put them) then open itunes, go to file, then import file and go back to the folder where you put the songs. If your computer isn't even recognizing the cd then its a computer issue. What I did was upload the songs to a different computer and used a thumb drive to move them from one to the other and followed the same instructions as above.. Hope that helps
