ITunes Store, No credit card

Question

I have received an iTunes gift card, and when I went through the process it told me I needed an account. So I began to set up one and it said I needed a credit card, but I don't have one... is there a way I could still use the gift card without that piece of information?

You can't do anything online with out a credit / debit card. Unless your using Ebay and the person takes personal checks or Money order.

Yes, when you get to the credit card part just hit cancel. If they doesn't work just set up an account through apple and not iTunes and it will work with iTunes without asking for credit card information.

I dont think so. They need your credit card or debit card, if you have one of those it will work too. They, of course, use that to charge you and to get at least some sort of conformation that you are you and not someone else. All transactions on itunes is charged a to your (or a) credit card or bebit card but you will neeed to sign in, or 'sign up' to sign in, in your case, to use the gift card.
