ITunes Transfer Question

I got a new computer and I want to update my iPod. But, I want to update it on my new computer. On my old computer it my library. I want to update the iTouch on my new one because it is updated. On the old computer it wont let me update it. So can I update my iTouch, on my new computer without having to sync it to my new computer.

My new computer doesn't work with CDs so I cant transfer it.

Buy an external hard drive. I put mine on it and I got all 5,600 songs and 4 movies on it. The external will allow you to transfer songs to most any computer. Plus, you can add and delete documents, songs, etc. off the external as well.

If this helps, try transferring the music using some other kind of means. For example, try connecting the two computers to the same network and enable file sharing. That should work for transferring. Or, you could use a FireWire/USB cable and connect the two, and try to transfer the files like that.
