ITunes With iPod Help

Question

Mmk so i downloaded my friends iTunes onto my new iPod and then he left to head back to California. Well i tried to download the songs from my iPod onto my iTunes but it wont let me and if i accept the sync it will erase all the songs. How do i get all the songs on my iTunes without deleting them all?

Go to "my computer" and then into the spot where it shows your ipod. Then go into "folder options" > "view". Now click ""show hidden files the folders". Go into the one called "iPod Control" and continue through the music folder until you see mp3's with weird names like "erhd". These are your mp3's but the names are encoded. Itunes and windows media player can fix them, so just copy all of your songs to your computers music folder and you got em! You'll probably need to rename them though<3

its not possible unless you download a program off the interenet. if you have a mac computer, use the porgram  senuti from http://www.fadingred.org/senuti/ you can then pick what songs u want from your ipod and put them on your computer.

i am sorry but its not possible to do this you would have to upload all those songs on your itunes i have had difficulty with this to but its not possible! sorry i couldn't be of any help to you but if there is anything else just ask :D ; ) : )~~~~~~ peace out!

you cant all you can do is try to add songs to your ipod with your itunes but if it asks you to override then you cant sorry

Um, Itunes doesnt work backwards.  Its part of the p****y protection.  Get a program like birdsong.

Itunes isnt on the ipod, its on your PC.  You cannot load things into itunes from the device, only from the website or other files on your PC.  Until you get all the songs you ahve into that version of itunes there isnt much you can do.  D/l limewire, winamp, and protowall, and get rid of itunes.  Its a waste of space.

well i think it will just take them off of your ipod but they will still be on your playlist on itunes. but if not you need to click on your ipod on the side menu and see what boxes you have checked. that might have something to do with it.
