ITunes and iPod Help!!!!!!!!!?

Question

I just found my old ipod nano. But i have recenty downloaded a new iTunes. When i plug it in and click sync it tells me its syncing but nothing happens. This little window pops up and say if i want to scan the ipod and when i click yes it says i dont have a disk in my disk drive.

Can you help me pu my new songs on my old ipod? P.S. I dont have my installation cd anymore and this is a new laptop..

try a diffrent usb port maybe? other then that idk, apple.com might have somthing usfull to help you
