ITunes- buying t.v episodes?

Question

So I was on iTunes, and i wanted to buy the whole season on this one show. So i clicked "buy all episodes". When the new episode comes out, isn't it supposed to automatically download onto my computer? Because I saw the new episode on iTunes, and I don't want to re-buy it, but I want to watch the episode! What do I do?

Open iTunes, click on store, then check for purchases.
