ITunes file size? ?

So i downloaded my first song for iTunes its an average length song but for some reason its around 7 megs whereas most other songs i have are around 3-4 megs, i know its a different file type but is there any reason why its so much larger.

Yes, the file might be a bigger bitrate (which is a good thing) meaning higher quality.

But you might want to open the file up with winzip to make sure there aren't any other files crammed in there.
