I have a video iPod and I everything I bought was on my Dell computer. I was trying to sync all of my purchases with my Mac computer. I connected my video iPod to my Mac and it said this iPod is synced with another computer and my options were to "Erase and sync" or "Cancel" I wasn't sure what to do so I click on "Erase and sync" and when I clicked on "Music", then I clicked on "All songs and purchases" and it only transferred about 20 out of 60 songs. It said "Some of the items were not synced because you are not authorized to play them on this computer". I went to "Store" and clicked on "Authorize Computer" and it said authorization was successful. But I still can't get all of my music on my iPod! How can I get all of my music back? And use the Mac for syncing my iPod with?

  1. u do know u put your question in the wrong section, this is adolescent pregnancy right???

  2. you buy music i just get it on limewire

  3. Erase and sync, it erases all your musiic, and loads the ones from your iTunes.

  4. oh geez, i've had so many stressful ipod experiences (i'm just not great with computers in general), but maybe you'd get better answers if you put this question in the "computers" section?  i've had some luck getting questions answered there before.

    good luck!

  5. Sync all you're music back from the Dell onto your iPod.

Find a program such as YamiPod or Anapod Explorer that gets the files from your iPod onto your harddrive. Then when you play the files it'll ask for the iTunes Account Information that was used when the transaction took place.

Enter it and you should be in the clear.
