ITunes installation problem?

I downloaded iTunes but it didn't work, so I tried to remove it and all the other Quicktime and updating software which comes with the installation, using the add/remove programs in Windows. But when I tried to remove iTunes it came up with a message saying: a later version of iTunes has already been installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. What should I do?

  2. Did you restart your computer after you'd uninstalled it?

If not - do it NOW!

    Then try installing itunes again
