Question:

ITunes music from PC to Mac?

I recently got a MacBook and want to put music on my iPod into my iTunes. However, all of the songs on my iPod were purchased on and downloaded from a PC/non-Mac laptop. Is it true that I will lose all of my songs (downloaded from my previous laptop) when I try to put them on my new MacBook?

If not, are there any other restrictions/things I should know about before trying to do this?

Thanks!

  1. go into itunes on your old computer and enable disk usage on your ipod and then like plug it into the new mac and it should recognize it in the finder as an external drive and you just open it and copy the files to the finder wherever you want the files to go in such as a music folder and there you go

this happened to me a couple of weeks ago oh and before i forget you will have to authorize the new macbook in order for you to listen to your purchases and you do this by going to advanced and click authorize  and then put your account info in and there you go.

your welcome and here is a link that can help you a little bit by what i am talking about
