ITunes with MP3 player? is this possible?

Can I use iTunes with a MP3 plater? If so, is there any problems with it?

If not, what's a good program to use that's free?

Sorry to say, I don't remember exactly how.. (sorry!!)

But I know for a fact that I had an mp3 player a few years ago

and I've always had iTunes on my computer. We found a way to sync it. :/ Just can't quite remember how. :/ Sorry!

It's possible to do it, but it requires all kinds of complicated hacks. Not recommended. As for other programs to try, there's Media Monkey, Songbird and Winamp. All great and all are free.
