  1. Ouch.

    REETTTAKEEE

  2. Go to college and further your education, you do not have to give up at the first hurdle, there are many people who have to retake and improve on their grades.  Go and get some information on courses and move on, your future is in your hands, go to college and work hard to get some good qualifications.

  3. Correct 1000%

  4. The Grades you have listed are all PASSES.  Your future is NOT over.

  5. you should at maybe doing NVQ's or work based training. You can alot of courses at college these days without having any qualifications.

  6. Do a trade like plumbing or electrician, work at it for 4 years or so, become qualified and reap the benefits, you will more than likely earn more than some of your friends who went to uni.

  7. Yeah i havent even got mine yet and i think ive failed, and anyone that goes "haha" and laughs f**k them, you cn always do them again.

  8. nope.

you can still go to college and redo your GCSES or start a lower requirement course and then work your way up and end up getting a degree in the future

  9. Haha .... shame on you

    I got

    2 A's   4 B's    4 C's   1 E's

But your lifes not over.. you can do btecs and go to collge.. work.. there are still things to do.. but you should of thought about this wen you where taking you exams.

  10. Don't worry! Your future is not over. I've got a mate who passed 2 of his GCSes and he is now a youth leader at several churches and organisation in my area and also runs a bookshop and works in caravan storage!

  11. try looking at all the boards you took exams with and look about re-sits. Sorry!

  12. All through your life you've been told that, basically, exams are the be all and end all of life. Thats complete and absolute bollocks.  They aren't.  If you want, you can re-take them- it looks great on a cv, but alot of employers realise that education isn't for everyone, and there are thousdands of jobs where you can do an apprentaship.  You know what, with very few GCSE's you can do an apprentaship and get a trade; plumbing, electricians, building, joinary, and then believe me, you'll never be out of work.  Get a trade son, you will go far.  When you hit a brick wall in life, choose another path; there'es billions of them to choose from!

  13. Better get an Application form at Mc Donalds , Before all the Applications are gone

  14. Did you know how many famous people have bad grades? chill

  15. you'll still get a place in college but you'll just have to retake gcse english and maths

    xo

  16. Don't panic, I got really bad GCSE results, I went to college and they put me in some NVQ which was c**p. I am now a law degree student - GCSE's arent the be all and end all of everything. Experience and hard work are worth a lot more. You can become a mature student when you are 21 and do whatever course you like.

  17. go for an apprentiship somewhere or a course that doesnt need such high grades.

and your future is not over as you can still get good, high paying jobs =]

  18. You're not screwed and your future isn't over. I got pretty bad GCSE grades too.

But went onto a GNVQ Level 2 course in Art &Design and got really good grades in it which is equivalent to 9A's In GCSE.

But now i've just finished my A levels and got all A's and i'm continuing to do A2 level. Its not really the GCSE's to worry about, its the A levels, you'll have to worry about which then get you into UNI or a good paid job.

All you need to do now is apply for courses like a First Diplomas or a GNVQ Level 1 or even Level 2.

  19. Perhaps you could consider learning a trade or doing an apprenticeship.  Many tradespersons are in high demand and can earn high salaries, for example plumbers or electricians.

  20. your life is not over honestly,i got 1 c and the rest d and e but i went to college and started from the bottom and now i work for thomson as cabin crew so if i can do it so can you

  21. A Lot of people don't do good there first time, you should do a first diploma in somthing you enjoy. A first diploma is equivalent to 4 GCSEs

A-C and you can then start your A levels,

    Good Luck.

  22. This is not the end of the world, your future is not over. You have many options.

Firstly you can retake, can be a lot of work, but if you need them then it's worth it. Many people retake just English and Maths, so you don't need to redo them all.

You could take a vocational course, if exams are really not you then you could try Btecs, they're almost entirely coursework based. There are also GNVQs, aprentiships and so forth.

You could get a job, it probably won't be high paying, but you can usualy work your way up if you work hard.

If you want to go to Uni you have a few options, you could do an access course, I don't know the specifics but I knew a few people who've done them and they can be quite good. Many universities have foundation degrees, which, if you pass, usualy give you entry to the full degree.

You could also try what I'm doing. Doing your degree (or other qualifications) through the Open University. They have a huge range of courses, including some entry level ones, I just got my Certificate in Humanities which is a level above A levels. I did it as part of my degree (which I'm now 1/3 of the way through). The advantage of the OU is that you can do it along side other things, many employers will actualy sponser you to do it. It means you don't end up in huge debt because you pay for each modual seperately and you can be working full time while you do it. Have a look at their website: http://www.open.ac.uk/ and see if there's anything that apeals to you.

You should go and talk to conextions, they can be helpful and point you in the direction of good courses and such.

  23. Don't worry you have a few things you could do.

    1. You can go to college and retake the exams

    2. Go for a vocational course (some of them don't need any grades whatsoever!)

    3. Look for an apprenticeship

    4. You can get a job (though it won't be a well paying one)

  24. Too much time playing pc games does'nt stand you in good stead for passing exams in the real world.Leave the games earlier and do more revision. You were advised still never mind you might be able to resit. Good luck for the future.
