Iam 17 i have dark brown hair, light tan skin, i have never tried changing it colour but i wanna try it?

i wanna a lighter shade of brown but I'm a bit scared u know its my first time any help any thing to avoid?

I'm kinda the same- dark brown hair and light tan skin. i died mine black and got sidebangs but i have to say it looks better brown...

get highlights so that way u can slowly imagine all of ur hair that color and get comfortable with it, so when u do dye it, it wont be a drastic..
